Finally got the blog set.......hopefully, and are giving it a trial run! Time is starting to run a bit more quickly here as the weather warms up and the month of April starts to slide by. We are now thinking about the trip more carefully and starting to put together those 'to do' lists.
Early April also brings us an avalanche of birthdays at Chris and Courtney's house. Courtney's is on April 1st, Benny's on April 6th and Parker's on April 8th. That was quite a week!
In the midst of this, on April 4th we got a late season snow! This always seems to happen.......lest we think spring is actually here!
.......and finally a huge amount of excitement and publicity about the total solar eclipse that happened on March 8th. It did not get totally dark here, but parts of Vermont saw a real 'blackout' for a few minutes. This is the best photo I could come up with!
But the eerie bleakness of that event was offset by the start of activity in the greenhouse! This year we will trying to split the 'watering' effort between Fiske helping out at the house and also taking 12 flats of seedlings over to Alex and Caroline's!
